Description
A warm scoop of Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake Delight is incredible on its own or topped with whipped cream.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (250 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (180 g) peanut butter cups, chopped
- ½ cup (90 g) chocolate chips
- ½ cup whipped cream (optional topping)
- Extra chopped peanut butter cups (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Spread the chocolate cake mix evenly across the bottom of the baking dish. There’s no need to prepare the batter beforehand—this is part of what makes dump cakes so easy.
- Drizzle the milk evenly over the cake mix. Then pour the melted butter across the surface so the mix begins to absorb the moisture while baking.
- Warm the peanut butter slightly so it becomes easier to drizzle. Spoon or drizzle it over the cake mixture in generous ribbons.
- Scatter chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips across the top. As the dessert bakes, these melt into pockets of rich chocolate and peanut butter flavor.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes. The top should look slightly crisp while the inside stays soft and gooey.
- Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the peanut butter is warm for easier drizzling.
- This cake is best served warm with whipped cream.
