Description

A warm scoop of Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake Delight is incredible on its own or topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk
  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (250 g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (180 g) peanut butter cups, chopped
  • ½ cup (90 g) chocolate chips
  • ½ cup whipped cream (optional topping)
  • Extra chopped peanut butter cups (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Spread the chocolate cake mix evenly across the bottom of the baking dish. There’s no need to prepare the batter beforehand—this is part of what makes dump cakes so easy.
  3. Drizzle the milk evenly over the cake mix. Then pour the melted butter across the surface so the mix begins to absorb the moisture while baking.
  4. Warm the peanut butter slightly so it becomes easier to drizzle. Spoon or drizzle it over the cake mixture in generous ribbons.
  5. Scatter chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips across the top. As the dessert bakes, these melt into pockets of rich chocolate and peanut butter flavor.
  6. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes. The top should look slightly crisp while the inside stays soft and gooey.
  7. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the peanut butter is warm for easier drizzling.
  • This cake is best served warm with whipped cream.
