- 1 pound Beef Strips (Flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye)
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch (For marinating beef)
- 2 cups Bell Peppers (Mixed colors)
- 1 large Onion (Yellow or sweet)
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 tablespoon Ginger (Fresh, grated)
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce (For gluten-free, use tamari)
- 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce (Can be replaced with hoisin or more soy sauce)
- 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil (Peanut, vegetable, or avocado)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef strips in a mixture of soy sauce and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
- Heat cooking oil in a wok over medium-high heat, add sliced onions, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Increase heat to high, add marinated beef strips, and sear for 2-3 minutes, ensuring even cooking.
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Add sliced bell peppers to the skillet, stir for 2-3 minutes, then pour the sauce over and cook until thickened.
Notes
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce for your taste preference.
