Description

Delicious taco-shaped treats filled with cream cheese and topped with whipped cream & strawberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries or chopped maraschino cherries
  • 2 tbsp green sprinkles or crushed pistachios
  • 2 tbsp white chocolate, melted
  • 1 tbsp crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Brush both sides of the tortillas with melted butter.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then coat both sides of the tortillas lightly.
  4. Drape the tortillas over two bars of the oven rack or place them between the cups of an upside-down muffin tin to form taco shapes.
  5. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp. Let the shells cool completely.
  6. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  7. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then mix until creamy.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  9. Fold the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy.
  10. Transfer the filling to a piping bag or spoon it into the cooled taco shells.
  11. Top with whipped cream, strawberries or cherries, green sprinkles or pistachios, white chocolate drizzle, and crushed candy canes.
  12. Chill briefly before serving or serve right away while the shells are still crisp.
