Description

This creamy garlic chicken pasta is a delicious comfort food dish that’s quick and easy to make. Perfect for any weeknight dinner!


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Return chicken to skillet along with cooked pasta; toss gently to coat in sauce.
  6. Plate the pasta, garnish with parsley, and enjoy immediately.
