Description

A refreshing mango salsa that pairs well with chips, tacos, or grilled chicken.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the mangoes into small cubes.
  2. Dice the red bell pepper and red onion finely.
  3. Mince the jalapeño, removing seeds for less heat.
  4. Chop the fresh cilantro.
  5. In a large bowl, combine mango, bell pepper, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  6. Add lime juice and salt over the top.
  7. Gently toss all ingredients together.
  8. Let sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Taste and adjust lime juice or salt as needed.

Notes

  • Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled meats.
