Description

This delicious banana bread is perfect for breakfast or as a snack!


Ingredients

  • 45 large ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • as needed caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F for a classic golden crust.
  2. Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix in brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into banana mixture, careful not to overmix.
  6. Pour batter into a greased baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes.
  7. Check with a toothpick for doneness and let cool before serving.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired before serving.
