- 2 tbsp (25g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream, chilled
- 1 cup (240ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy, hot or cold)
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and cold heavy cream.
- Using a hand mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form and the mixture becomes thick and airy, about 2-4 minutes with a hand mixer.
- Pour your chosen milk (hot or cold) and vanilla extract into a serving glass, stirring gently.
- Carefully spoon the whipped chocolate mixture over the top of the milk.
- Stir gently before sipping if desired, or enjoy the distinct layers of creamy chocolate.
